Family Education Day:
Join our community at the San Diego Zoo for our 46th Annual Family Education Day. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with friends old and new, and network with industry representatives at the Vendor Fair. Educational sessions will include speakers from UC San Diego HTTC and Rady Children’s Hospital HTTC. This event is open to individuals with a bleeding disorder, carriers, immediate families and caregivers. Attendees can enjoy the San Diego Zoo on their own after the educational sessions. This event will be presented in English and translated into Spanish.

8:45am Registration Opens – located just outside the main exit,
registration closes at 9:45am
8:45 – 10:00am Industry Vendor Fair & Continental Breakfast
9:30 – 1:00pm Childcare (check-in required by 10am)
10:00 – 1:00pm Educational Program
1:00 – 1:30pm Industry Vendor Fair
1:30pm Event Concludes – box lunches to go
Complimentary childcare will be provided for children ages 5-12 only. Children will participate in a bus tour and behind the scenes animal presentations. Young adults 13 and older are expected to participate in the educational program. Children under 5 are welcome to stay with their parents or please make alternate arrangements. Please inform HASDC in advance if your child has any special needs (behavioral, educational, dietary, etc.) and we will do our best to make accommodations.
