Join us an evening of education. Our Educational Dinner Programs are open to all individuals with a bleeding disorder and their immediate family members living in HASDC’s service area.

“Life After High School: Your Bleeding Disorder in Young Adulthood – Choices & Risks”
With independence comes the power of choice but you need to make sure your choices are smart and safe. Making informed choices will help keep you healthy and happy as you transition to adulthood and beyond.

Annabelle Garcia, MPH
Community Educational Specialist (CES), Takeda

Annabelle Garcia received her Bachelor in Community Health at the Department of Public Health Sciences from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. After graduating, she moved to Phoenix, AZ where she was the Lead Educator for the Diabetes Prevention Program and Nutrition educator for the Gila River Indian Community. Implementing and educating on a healthy lifestyle for children, parents, and elders. She is passionate about educating communities and equipping them with the right tools to live a healthy and active lifestyle. Annabelle joined Takeda as a Community Education Specialist (CES) where she has been providing health education for the Hemophilia & Bleeding Disorder Community in Spanish.
