Gene Therapy for Hemophilia B”
This program will discuss the advances in gene therapy research for Hemophilia B, how it works, and the goals of gene therapy.

Amber Casey, RN
Patient Resource Navigator

Amber lives in Denver, CO with her two children Dylan (11) and Elliott (6) where she has been involved in the hemophilia community since 2014. Amber is a former Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC) nurse who worked at the Aurora treatment center affiliated with Children’s Hospital and University Hospital Colorado. Prior to working at the Colorado HTC, she worked as a hematology/oncology nurse in Tampa and Denver starting in 2008. After her time at the HTC she was a home infusion Director of Nursing providing home education and infusions to the bleeding disorder community and training all nurses west of the Mississippi on how to care for the bleeding disorder patient. Amber is thrilled to be a part of CSL Behring’s Gene Therapy program and get to know the California Hemophilia B community!
