“Understanding Gene Therapy Research and Its Potential Application to Hemophilia”
This presentation takes you through the journey of gene therapy research that began over 50 years ago. We start with the basics of genetics and the role genetics play in hemophilia. Next, we discuss how gene therapy is meant to work. Finally, we consider the potential for and some of the challenges of gene therapy research in hemophilia today.
