Virtual Camp Dragonfly:

QUALIFICATIONS

HASDC’s Camp Dragonfly is for campers ages 14-17 diagnosed with a bleeding disorder (given priority), carriers and siblings. Those living within San Diego & Imperial Counties will be given priority.

CAMPER BOX

Each participant will be mailed a Camp Box that will contain all materials necessary to complete camp activities. In addition to program materials, Camp Boxes will also include a camp t-shirt.

ZOOM

How do I join the webinar?
After you have registered via the HASDC website, a join webinar link will be emailed to you. Please use the “Click Here to Join” link in that email. You will have a separate link for each day of camp.

How do I access video from my smart phone or tablet?
Download the free Zoom App available for apple, google and android. If you have already downloaded Zoom, please make sure to download the most recent update.

I don’t have a strong enough internet connection at home or a device:
Please let us know ASAP if you do not have a strong enough internet or a device with a camera, as these are requirements to be able to successfully participate in camp.

What if I get disconnected or can’t login?
We will be actively troubleshooting throughout the camp program. Text 619-325-9401 if you have any technical difficulties and we will try to help you get back into the program.

Virtual Camp Dragonfly

Camp Dragonfly is going virtual on July 20 – 22, 2020. Camp capacity is limited, therefore only enroll if you feel you and your camper are able to fully participate each day.
  • Camper Information

  • Date Format: MM slash DD slash YYYY
  • This is important as all communication and Zoom links will be sent to the campers.
  • This is important as all reminders and Zoom links will be texted to the campers.
  • Camper boxes will be mailed to the address provided. Please make sure the address provided is where the camper lives.
  • Please indicate bleeding disorder diagnosis.
  • If you selected Other, please indicate type of Bleeding Disorder. If you selected Sibling, please indicate who in the family has a bleeding disorder.
  • Please indicate campers Hematologist (if applicable).
  • A Camp Dragonfly t-shirt will be provided in Camp Box.
  • Please indicate what type of device you camper will be using to Zoom in for camp programming. Examples: desktop, laptop, iPad, other tablet, cell phone.
  • Parent/Guardian Information

  • Camp Dragonfly Consent

  • I (legal parent or guardian) give my permission for my camper to take part in all Camp Dragonfly activities. In consideration of the benefits derived from my child’s attendance at Camp Dragonfly, I expressly waive all claims against the camp and its staff, the Hemophilia Association of San Diego County, it’s officers, trustees, agents and employees on account of any accident, injury and/or illness that may occur to my child during Camp Dragonfly July 20 – 22, 2020 in a virtual format.

  • The camp application fee is used to confirm camper's spot, cover camper box processing in the event of cancellation and cover costs for processing camper's application. Once your child's registration is confirmed, you will receive a request to submit payment.
