Beyond the Bleed: Community Education Day
In partnership with Rady Children’s Health Hemophilia & Thrombosis Treatment Center and The Center for Bleeding & Clotting Disorders at UC San Diego Health, we invite you to join us for a day of connection and education at our Family Education Day. You will have the opportunity to connect with friends old and new, network with industry representatives via our Exhibitor Fair, and hear from medical professionals in the community. Attendees have the opportunity to get tickets to Sunday’s San Diego Padres game.
HASDC’s programs and events are open to individuals with a bleeding disorder, carriers, immediate family members/caregivers living in HASDC’s service area (San Diego & Imperial Counties).

Complimentary self-parking provided for ONE car per registered family.

Time: 1:10pm

CHILDCARE
Complimentary childcare will be provided for children ages 3-12 only. Young adults 13 and older are expected to participate in the educational program. Children under 3 are welcome to stay with their parents or please make alternate arrangements. Please inform HASDC in advance if your child has any special needs (behavioral, educational, dietary, etc.) and we will do our best to make accommodations.
Childcare check in: 9:00AM (all children must be checked into childcare by 10:00AM)

Join us at the San Diego Padres game to be held at 1:10pm at Petco Park. Sundays are for family fun! Arrive when gates open for KidsFest, presented by Nuna. Located in the fully renovated Gallagher Square, you’ll find the redesigned Nuna playground, bounce houses, face painting, games, and more. Some activities will end prior to first pitch, inflatables and the Play Ball field will remain open through the end of the 7th inning, and the Nuna playground will be open all game!

Please note: if you are not currently in our database, you will receive an email to complete our Member Database form before your registration can be confirmed.
WAITLIST
If you are registering and live outside of HASDC’s service area (San Diego & Imperial Counties), you will be placed on a waitlist. If space is available, we will reach out to you via email to confirm registration for this event. Due to limited space, we are unable to accept event registrations for those without a bleeding disorder in their immediate family and family of volunteers, exhibitors, and sponsors.
